News media FAKE NEWS

Outlets ABC, CNN, and NBC reported acts of collusion between Trump and Russia, but later retracted and corrected when these reports turned out to be false.

Fusion GPS:  Political smear organization

Founded by Glen Simpson, former journalist.  More than anyone else, he was responsible for initiation and proliferation of the term “collusion.”

At first, a conservative website hired Fusion GPS to find dirt on Trump.  That funding stopped when effort was seen as futile.  Then Clinton/DNC lawyer Marc Elias hired Fusion GPS and Simpson.  Then Simpson hired Steele and his company, Orbis.

Fusion GPS and Steele also promoted dossier to Bruce Ohr (associate deputy attorney general) at Justice Department.  Ohr’s wife Nellie was paid employee of Fusion GPS and contributed to the dossier.  Bruce Ohr was legally required to recuse himself from the Trump-Russia investigation, but did not.

  • Obtained permission to export uranium from USA by hiring a third party to obtain an export license.
  • Rosatom deal of 2010 secured through extensive Russian conspiracy, known to the FBI but kept secret from Congress and CFIUS committee.

FISA:  Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.  A United States federal law which establishes procedures for physical and electronic surveillance and collection of foreign intelligence information between foreign powers and agents of foreign powers suspected of espionage or terrorism.
